37 weeks
Baby girl has been breech pretty much this entire pregnancy. We have been trying everything in the book trying to get her to flip. Chiropractor visits, taking Pulsatilla (homeopathic), laying on a tilt board several times a day, hypnosis, yoga poses, visualization...everything I tell ya. Last Wednesday we set up a special ultrasound to make sure baby girl wasn't tangled in her cord or anything. If that was the case we would most likely have to have an cesarean. The ultrasound looked great. We couldn't see any reason why she would not flip head down. So we felt the next step was to set up an external version to be done. We are so blessed that our mid-wife has been so involved and attending all of our "extra" appointments, chiro visits and ultrasounds. She is truly amazing! We had the version done with a more experienced midwife (ours has never performed a version before). It went so well. It was very uncomfortable but I was able to use my hypnosis to help with the pressure and it made all the difference in the world! Which obviously is making me a lot more confident with dealing with the pain when baby girl is actually on her way. Needless to say, she has her head down now and are praying it stays that way!

Snow Fun
Yesterday it snowed all day! I have never been one for the snow/cold. I like to stay in doors. Then I was thinking at work....I have never built a snowman with Mason before....SAD!! Mom FAIL right there. Don't worry he is almost 5 1/2. no biggie. He hasn't been completely deprived, other people love him and have built snowmen with him before. So I told myself to buck up and play with your kid in the snow today....so we did. I actually didn't freeze and die-miracle I tell ya.

cabin fever
We have been having some cabin fever lately. Sometimes it is so hard to stay entertained in the winter. It is just so bitter cold to be out there for too long. We took Mason ice skating! It started out as a great idea...then I was reminded I am pregnant and probably not the best idea if I go ice skating....my equilibrium has not been the most trustworthy lately. :) Next we realized we had no idea where Kent's ice skates are. He played ice hockey in high school and refuses to skate without his own skates. We searched the storage unit...nothing. They are buried deep. Kent finally caves, and decides he will rent and take Mason. Of course Mason was so excited! He lasted for about an hour before he was done. He did pretty good considering...haha. It was pretty fun just to sit back and watch the two of them out there.

Merry Christmas
This year has been an amazing Christmas!! We are so grateful for our family and we all got spoiled rotten!
Nativity
The Isaacson's have a good family friend, the Hunt's. Every year they put on a live nativity 3 days before Christmas. It is such a wonderful production they put on for the community and they do it all for free. It is always a nice reminder of what Christmas is really about and blocks out all the distractions. Kent and I have been in it several times as different roles over the years. This year they asked us to be Mary and Joseph. What a honor to put ourselves in their shoes, even if it was only for an hour. We are so grateful Mary and Joseph, for the love, sacrifice and righteous people they were.

Mason turns 5
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MASON
Mason turned 5 September 30! I can't believe I have a little boy who is 5!!! Life with Mason is never dull! He is the light of my life, the life of the party and the sweetest little angel I have ever met. It is so crazy to look back on life with perspective. When you have more of the pieces to fill in the blanks. I love to watch God's plans for us come together and create such a wonderful life. He really knew what He was doing when He blessed us with Mason. Words can't even begin to describe how I love him. I instantly feel my heart swell and my eyes water when I even think about it. I am so grateful to be his mother and to love him forever!!
For his birthday, Mason asked to have oatmeal for dinner. hahaha! So I asked if he would be OK if we just had breakfast in general so everyone else at his party would have some food to eat. He was spoiled and got this really cool LEGO set from us, cars, stickers, coloring books and Grandpa got the horses out to ride! He had a blast on his special day!
6th Anniversary!!
(I found this post in my drafts-I don't want to forget about this)
Kent and I just celebrated our 6th anniversary. It was so wonderful to just have time with him. These days are almost a time of the past. We drove down to Salt Lake in the morning and attended Emma Kirby's baptism and a family get together after. We love going down to spend time with the whole Carter bunch! I have LOVED having them live here. And now Jen and Ken live here too!! It is so perfect! After the get together, Jen took Mason for the rest of the day...and night! I love that woman!! I think she just has missed being an aunt for so long, she is spoiling us rotten and I am not complaining one bit!! :) Mason even ended up in their bed in the morning! hahahaha I LOVE it!! Jen said he woke up at 6 kind of crying asking for mom, and Jen had to remind him where he was, and he says, OH! Hi Jen! and back to sleep until 9! haha. He is such a funny kid! Kent and I enjoyed the rest of our day together. We went and test drove a Ford Raptor (Kent's dream truck) and I think we both fell in love. Then we had dinner at The Bombay House (Indian food is both our favorites! There is this little place here in Ogden, Sitara India, that is our FAVORITE! We have always heard great things about Bombay house and they did not disappoint. We then went and stayed at a hotel and had such a wonderful day! Kent is such an incredible person and I can't even begin to list the things I love and adore about him.
