Last night we got all packed up with Kent's family and headed up to Willard Bay. Every year the marina sets up tons of Christmas lights throughout the whole park. They also provide horse and buggy rides through the lights! Santa is also waiting to meet all the kiddies in a barn. It is such a fun activity to do as a family!
Sunday night Mason was saying good night prayer, in it he prayed all about Christmas. One thing in particular he asked for, was to sing Christmas carols. He is a crack up, who prays/thinks of that? Anyway, Monday night as we are riding behind the horses, Mason asks everyone if we can sing carols. As cheesy as it was, it felt so wonderful to be surrounded by family and feeling the Christmas cheer!!
After our buggy ride, we went into the barn and waited to meet Santa. Mason's anticipation to sit on his lap was so adorable!! He was so excited. As we were waiting in line, Mason pulls me down to whisper in my ear. He gets this puzzled look on his face, and taps his finger on his cheek. Then says,
"Mom, is that the REAL Santa? Because him has glasses on!"
HAHAHAHA! I told him he should ask him, maybe he is just one of his helpers. Nothing gets past this kid. Although it seems pretty standard for Santa to have glasses on, apparently not Mason's Santa.
