Here they are!

Monday after work, we were able to go and pick up Masons glasses. He told me, “but I already have glasses! My tiger ones!!” haha!! Mason, now you are going to have 2 glasses!!! “OH!” Silly boy! We go and get them and have him fitted and he is ready to go! As soon as I get them all situated on him, he looks up at me and just stares at me. Looking at me very closely! HE CAN SEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Haha. He then gets down, and looks in the mirror. He is just staring at himself in the mirror, checking out his bad self. Then, he is just walking slowly in the shop and staring at the carpet so intently!!! Everything he would look at twice as long as normal. It was seriously the most darling thing in the whole world. My eyes were beading up. Its crazy how much we take our vision for granted and now little Mason can see and explore the entire world without missing a beat!!  He has been doing fabulous with his glasses! He only takes them off a couple times during the day for a couple of minutes for a little break. But I bet by the weekend he will be completely used to them. I was scared that it was going to slow him down but he is just the same little crazy monkey as before. Now he is just cuter!!! I love his little face in the glasses, his eyes are all magnified through the glasses and his little floppy ears can barely hold the glasses up!! SO CUTE!!!

The week before we bought Mason a new bike!!! I bet no one has ever seen a kid move his little legs so fast on one of those tricycles. Mason had the exact distance down between the pedal and the back wheel before he would get his heels ran over. Jamie might have some competition for the nick name “Fred Flintstones” HAHA!! Well anyway, this little trike just isn’t going to cut it anymore. He needed to move up in the world. But Kent and I didn’t want to buy him a big boy bike with training wheels that he can’t even ride yet. So a lady at work had told me about these balance bikes. Did a little research, found one in our area and bought it!!!!!!!!! Haha! It is a bike that has no training wheels and no pedals. They say training wheels do absolutely nothing for teaching kids balance, all they do is teach kids how to pedal, which isn’t hard. With the balance bike, you make big strides and then there is little pegs to put their feet up on to coast. Mason is kind of getting the hang of it. Haha. We will see if this bike works or if you should stick with the training wheels! 
