AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! My family room slash kitchen nook is done!! If anyone knows me, they understand how long and drawn out this process has been. I change my mind quite frequently and my funds of money seem to do the same thing. :) If either of them were constant, I might have finished this project forever ago. Jill probably made me a million different powerpoints of different ways to set up my room. All of them being fabulous!!! Anyway once we were set in glue with everything Jill couldn't resist in letting me have all the fun in putting it together, so she made a fast weekend trip to Utah just to help me put everything together. There is NO WAY I could have done the task by myself, nor could I have made it look so adorable! I made the curtains hanging in both the family room and Kitchen (with the help of my Mother-in-law and Grandma-in-law.) When I was sewing them I couldnt stop smiling, they make me sooo happy!! We painted the wall that the picture wall is hanging on. Its called Exile by Kwal Paint (If anyone was wondering) When we first put it on the wall I got a little scared, it looked a lot more brown then I was wanting. But we were in a time cruch so there was no turning back. hahaha. Once it dried, I must say it is absolutely perfect! I am in love with the color! It dried to a softer grey brown color. I want my whole house that color!!! THe picture wall turned out so adorable as well. We found the stuff for the picture wall....everywhere!!! haha. Some of the pieces have some sentimental value. The bottom left there is a horse mpicture made with wood and copper then my Great Grandpa had made. The deer antlers are from my Grandpa Warrell. Then the big light brown wood frame at the top left is a frame that held a picture of my Grandpa Warrell when he was just entering the army. Which will hold a picture of a family...whenever we get them done. :) Jill took some pictures around town that we framed as well!! THANKS!!
So I was going to repost the pictures but I am too lazy, so here is a link so my sisters blog to see the final pictures. Most of you look at both of our blogs anyway. haha! http://rjkimball.blogspot.com/2011/08/isaacson-family-room-re-do.html
Thank you so much for all of your help Jill, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!
