BEST BIRTHDAY EVER

For anyone who knows me, I hate getting older. I don't know why. I just have always LOVED being young. When I turned 20-that was hard. I hated not being a teeny-bopper anymore. I know I know-all of you are laughing at me, because I am STILL supper young (23). Even though I hate the getting old part-I LOVE the celebrating part!!!!!!! I have had so much cake/ice cream in the past week-I seriously cant even suck in!!! UGH!!!!!!!!! Well anyway. On my actual birthday (July 7) we had a big family party at Kents moms house and ate tons of food and treats!! Then Friday night we went out to a Raptors game in Ogden! We had a blast and had pretty good seats! Mason surprisingly did really well and had a blast!!!!! then Saturday, Kent went off to the nursery and got us a tree (fruitless Mulberry) and in the meantime Mason and I met up with some family at some festivities in downtown Ogden. In Utah we have Pioneer day (July 24) but apparently we like to make it a month long celebration. So the month of July is always fun in Ogden! Saturday was the "Shoot Out" which involved some people in a wagon who get robbed and the cops come haul them away (in a nutshell). HAha. It was cute, and Mason loved it. They had tons of other things going on as well. Then we got home. got all ready and dropped Mason off with Kent's mom (THANK YOU) and we headed off for our date!! Kent and I both LOVE architecture and driving around to look at houses to get ideas for the one we will build..one day! SO we drove around Salt Lake and the avenues. Found some treasures. Kent was getting hungry so we stopped for dinner at Sawadee Thai Restaurant!! It was SUPER good. We then headed up Emigration Canyon in hopes to find a home in Dwell Magazine that I had read about and was interested in finding. WE FOUND IT!! haha. I know we are such stockers!! LOVE IT! along with that house, we found many other treatures!!! I LOVED every second of it! after this, we went and got some Frozen Yogurt from LunaBerry!!!! FABULOUS!!!!! I had Passion Fruit flavroed yogurt topped with mini chocolate chips and fresh raspberries. Kent had a Mango something smoothie. apparently that wasnt enough and later ordered a crepe with Nutella, Almonds, and Bananas! YUMMMMY!!!! then we headed home to find a grumpy Mason kept up passed him bedtime! hahah. what are grandparents for!! LOVE YOU GUYS!!

OH bummer-I forgot to tell you all about my presents. AHHH. another day.
